Kate finally decides its high time she laid it all out in therapy! Exploring how a simple thing like an ex can be embedded into the mind so everything becomes automatically engrained as normal… but it isn’t normal, is it? Kate thought so, until now.
Directed by Ella Faye Donley with Assistant Director Brandon Boruch, Auto-Engrain is a harrowing and blunt re-telling of a woman’s experience of a past relationship and how she got to now. No sugar coating allowed. Written and performed by Helena Collins O'Connor, WE ARE BOSSTRESS presents a novella on stage: a semi-autobiographical piece containing elements of humour with an essence of factual fiction.
The show was written originally as therapeutic and is performed in it’s truest way; through storytelling.

Auto-Engrain premiered in October 2020 as part of Broadway’s React and Scratch, and hit the ground running to a sold out run at Clapham Fringe Festival September/ October 2021.
The show transferred to the Pleasance Theatre in Islington for 1 night on Tuesday 02 November 2021.
